Background & History
Schoolhill Hydraulic Engineering started life in 1952, with the manufacture of precision replacement parts for earth moving and agricultural machinery.
During the decades that followed, the company developed its expertise to assist the emerging oil and gas and subsea sectors. Today, our engineers produce high-specification products that help to support exploration activity.
The company has also developed successful relationships with the heavy industry, industrial process and barrel working machinery sectors. Schoolhill Hydraulic Engineering is committed to providing a ‘whole of life’ service, from design and development to finished product and after-sales support. The company is equally committed to product quality and was one of the first hydraulic cylinder manufacturing companies in Scotland to achieve ISO9000 quality assurance accreditation.
Over the years, our original Aberdeen premises have undergone staged expansions. Schoolhill Hydraulic Engineering currently operates from a 1.25 acre site with a fully-equipped workshop floor area of around 20,000 sq ft.
Our original ethos – to think and work as a team to provide the best quality and service – remains.
