For many years Schoolhill Hydraulic Engineering has manufactured stainless steel valves for oilfield control systems, both topside and subsea. This product range was created in response to customers’ needs for specialist valves, mainly for use in ESD systems and designed specifically to meet harsh oilfield conditions. These valves have a high degree of reliability and are suitable for use with BOP fluids and water glycol solutions.

Schoolhill Hydraulic Engineering’s valve range includes:

Our valves are available for pipe or subplate mounting. They are manufactured from 316 stainless steel as standard but many other materials are available on request in sizes up to 1-3/4″ and flow rates to 80 GPM Imp (360 ltr/m).

In addition to the products listed above, Schoolhill Hydraulic Engineering can design bespoke valves to suit specified applications.

One of the major features of our pilot operated valves is that almost any pilot ratio can be supplied to suit particular system conditions. All of our valves are identified by unique serial numbering and can be supplied with materials traceability and pressure test certificates.

Schoolhill Hydraulic Engineering has also formed an arrangement with BIS Valves http://www.bisvalves.co.uk in Bournemouth. We act as a distributor for the full BIS range of stainless steel control valves, as well as providing associated technical support to the north east oil and gas industry on behalf of BIS.
